October Update
Our Global Futures 2X Program posted a return of +49.62% in October, with the gains attributed from all eight sectors we monitor. Some of the most profitable short positions were the Nikkei, British Pound, Cotton and Cattle.
Our investment process, which combines the science of a proprietary quantitative model, rigorous risk management and continuous research, was able to benefit from a dominant down trend across nearly all asset classes in one of the most dramatic months the markets have ever seen.
Going forward we expect extreme moves in both directions to continue and volatility to stay high. With the worst credit crisis since the Great Depression on our hands and much uncertainty about what the future holds, these are not times for the faint of heart and only the most skilled and disciplined investors will survive, “Gone are the days of buy and hold”.
